Tanzanian artist Alikiba has joined Rwandans in marking the 32nd commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, expressing solidarity and honoring the victims.

In a message shared on his Instagram account, the singer said remembrance should serve as a guiding light toward a peaceful future.

“We stand with Rwanda in remembering those who were killed in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. May remembrance guide us toward a future of peace,” he wrote.

Alikiba has established strong ties with Rwanda’s music industry, collaborating with local artists such as Kevin Kade and Bruce Melodie. In January 2026, he signed Rwandan singer Muttima to his label, Kings Music Africa.

The artist has also performed in Kigali multiple times, further strengthening his connection with Rwandan audiences.
