Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva has received Dr. Sylver Aboubakar Minko-Mi-Nsemé, Ambassador of Gabon to Rwanda, in talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions highlighted Rwanda’s development trajectory, with particular emphasis on governance reforms and the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism sector, which continues to contribute significantly to economic growth.
Both sides expressed commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors of mutual interest, underscoring a shared vision for sustainable development and stronger bilateral ties.
Rwanda and Gabon already cooperate in areas including education, information and communication technology, military cooperation, and trade. The partnership also extends to air transport, with RwandAir operating direct flights to Libreville, Gabon’s capital.
