Rwanda’s four representatives have delivered impressive performances in the ongoing CAVB Men’s Club Championship 2026, with dominant wins recorded during the group-stage matches played at BK Arena.
Police Volleyball Club overcame Wolaitta Volleyball of Ethiopia in straight sets 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-22), while REG VC defeated Kenya’s General Service Unit Volleyball Club 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 28-26).
Kepler VC also secured a 3-1 victory over Cameroon Sports Volleyball (25-21, 25-21, 26-28, 25-22), before APR VC completed the clean sweep for Rwanda with a straight-sets win against Uganda’s Nemo Stars (25-20, 25-23, 27-25).
The results underline a strong start for Rwandan clubs in the continental competition, with all four sides maintaining competitive positions as the group stage progresses.
Now in its 47th edition, the tournament brings together some of Africa’s top volleyball clubs, with Egypt’s Al Ahly once again emerging as the leading title contender. The record champions, who have won the competition 16 times, continued their strong form with a straight-sets victory over SPORT-S of Uganda.
The championship continues with further group-stage matches at BK Arena, where Rwandan clubs are set for key fixtures against high-profile opponents as they push for qualification to the knockout stage.
