RSSB Tigers sealed their historic BAL 2026 crown on May 31 after a dramatic 90–88 win over Angola’s Petro de Luanda in the final played at BK Arena in Kigali.
The victory marked a milestone in Rwandan basketball history, with the team becoming the first from the country to lift the continental trophy.
Their journey to the title included a series of impressive performances, eliminating Morocco’s FUS Rabat and Egypt’s Al Ahly in the playoffs before edging Petro de Luanda in a tightly contested final.
American guard Craig Randall II was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament after playing a key role in RSSB Tigers’ successful campaign.
