Sports journalists Ishimwe Adelaide, popularly known as Ida, and Hitimana Jean Claude, widely known as Hit, have announced plans to tie the knot on September 5, 2026.
The announcement comes just days after Adelaide officially left TV10/Radiyo TV10, where she had worked for four years.
The couple previously worked together on the station’s morning sports programme, “10 Sports Urukiko,” a show focused on sports news, analysis, and discussion.
Hitimana currently serves as Head of Sports at the media house and is among its long-serving sports journalists, playing a central role in shaping its sports coverage.
Their wedding announcement has attracted attention in Rwanda’s sports media circles, given their long professional collaboration and shared on-air presence on one of the country’s leading private sports programmes.
