Rayon Sports have added Cameroonian goalkeeper Dande Junior to their squad as the club continues its preparations for the 2026/27 football season.
The Kigali-based club confirmed the signing of the 28-year-old shot-stopper on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, following his departure from Cameroon’s Canon Sportif de Yaoundé.
Dande brings international experience, having previously played for DR Congo giants AS Vita Club during the 2022/23 season, where he was the club’s second-choice goalkeeper behind Farid Ouedraogo, who currently features for Sudanese side Al Hilal.
The signing comes at a time when Rayon Sports are seeking stability in goal after first-choice goalkeeper Kwizera Olivier reached the end of his contract, with renewal talks reportedly yet to yield an agreement.
Dande becomes the 14th new player signed by Rayon Sports during the current transfer window and the eighth foreign player recruited by the club as part of efforts to build a competitive squad.
The Blues are currently conducting pre-season preparations in Gicumbi ahead of Rayon Day, scheduled for July 18, 2026, when they will host Kenyan side Gor Mahia.
The club is also gearing up for the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup, which will be held in Rwanda from July 24 to August 8, as well as the 2026/27 domestic campaign.
