Rwanda Premier League has entered into an exclusive multi-year rights agreement with global sports technology company Hudl, opening a new channel for Rwandan clubs and players to gain international exposure.

The partnership, announced on Monday, August 17, 2026, will see the BK Pro League featured on Hudl Wyscout, a football video and data platform widely used by scouts, coaches and clubs to assess players and identify talent.

Under the agreement, matches from Rwanda’s top-flight league will be made available through high-quality video and performance data, allowing football professionals outside the country to analyse games and players.

Rwanda Premier League CEO Jules Karangwa described the deal as an important milestone in the league’s international growth.

“Partnering with Hudl is an important milestone in the international growth of the BK Pro League,” Karangwa said, adding that the platform would increase the visibility of Rwandan players, clubs and the competition among scouts, coaches and football professionals worldwide.

Amavubi head coach Stephen Constantine said the partnership could help expose Rwandan talent to a wider international audience and create new opportunities for players.

He noted that Rwanda has considerable football talent but that some players have not received the level of exposure needed to attract international attention.

Mateo Bourrut Lacouture, Hudl’s Strategic Partnership Manager, welcomed the agreement, saying the company was pleased to have the BK Pro League available on its platform.

The partnership will also give Rwandan clubs access to video and performance information that can support technical analysis, player development and recruitment.

Hudl provides sports technology and video-analysis services to teams, leagues and sporting organisations around the world. Its Wyscout platform is designed to help football professionals analyse matches and players and support scouting and recruitment.

The agreement places the BK Pro League alongside a growing number of football competitions and organisations that have partnered with Hudl for scouting and performance analysis.

The 2026/27 BK Pro League season is scheduled to begin on September 4, 2026, with Rwanda Premier League confirming the competition as part of its preparations for the new campaign.

The partnership is expected to strengthen the league’s international visibility while giving Rwandan players another avenue to attract attention from clubs, scouts and coaches beyond the country.
