Musanze FC have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Rwanda Premier League season with the signing of Congolese defender Hertier Lulihoshi and Cameroonian striker Bakari Francois Landry.
The two players were unveiled on Wednesday, August 19, and have each signed two-year contracts with the Northern Province club.
Lulihoshi returns to Musanze FC, having previously played for the club before moving to Tanzania. He later joined Prisons FC, leaving after the club was relegated to the second tier.
Bakari joins Musanze FC from Tanzanian side Pamba Jiji FC after completing his contract with the club.
Their arrivals add to Musanze FC’s growing list of recruits as the club looks to improve on its 10th-place finish in the 2025/26 Rwanda Premier League.
The club had previously signed midfielder Mugiraneza Frodouard from Police FC, winger Ndayishimiye Edouard and striker Destin Malanda.
Musanze FC have also retained four players by extending their contracts with Mukengere Christian, goalkeeper Nsabimana Jean de Dieu, popularly known as Shaulin, Munyurangabo Leonidas Ciriri and Gakwavu Jean Berkimas.
The club is continuing its pre-season preparations under head coach Ruremesha Emmanuel and has also entered into a partnership with UB-Fit Gym.
Musanze FC were initially scheduled to open the new league season against APR FC, but the fixture was postponed because APR FC will be involved in the CAF Champions League.
The club will instead begin its campaign on September 11 against Kiyovu Sports at Ubworoherane Stadium in Musanze.
