Rwanda international Noam Fritz Emeran has left Dutch top-flight club Groningen after three seasons, ending a spell in which limited playing time restricted his impact.
The 24-year-old forward joined Groningen in 2023 after leaving Manchester United and initially signed a four-year contract.
Emeran made 22 appearances for Groningen but scored only once and registered one assist during his time at the club.
His departure comes with a year still remaining on his contract, bringing an early end to his stay in the Eredivisie.
Emeran struggled to secure regular playing time at Groningen, limiting his opportunities to establish himself in the team.
The forward had joined the Dutch club after progressing through Manchester United’s youth system, but his three-year spell in the Netherlands did not produce the breakthrough he had hoped for.
As a Rwanda international, Emeran’s next move will be closely watched as he looks to revive his club career and secure more regular first-team football.
His departure leaves the 24-year-old facing a new chapter after a difficult spell in the Dutch top flight.
