Rwandan musician Khalfan Govinda and actress and singer Oxygène Moana have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, marking a new chapter in the couple’s relationship.
The couple announced the birth on social media, sharing their joy with fans after welcoming their first child together.
Khalfan Govinda, whose real name is Nizeyimana Odo, appeared particularly excited about his new role as a father.
In a video shared with his followers, he said: “Now I also have someone who will call me dad.”
Govinda is a prominent figure in Rwanda’s music scene, known for his work in Hip Hop and Afropop. Oxygène Moana, whose real name is Irumva Jeanne D’Arc, is active in both music and acting and has built a significant following on TikTok.
The couple’s relationship began attracting public attention in 2025, with their romance becoming a subject of interest among their followers.
Oxygène gained recognition as an actress through her appearance in Kimenyi’s film Umuruho Wanjye. She has also released several songs, including Adamu It’s Okay, Promise, Mundeke, Nineza and Like Single.
The arrival of their daughter comes after a relationship that has attracted considerable attention from fans and social media followers.
