Rwandan artist Juno Kizigenza has apologized to fans after failing to release his highly anticipated album, OTA, as promised.
The singer had committed to dropping the album at midnight on April 1, 2026, but the release did not happen, leaving fans frustrated and accusing him of playing with their emotions.
Recognizing the disappointment, Kizigenza hosted a live session on his Instagram account on the night of Wednesday, April 2, 2026, where he issued a public apology.
“It was meant as a joke, but I apologize to anyone who misunderstood. The album will not be released in April,” he said.
Kizigenza confirmed that the album exists and retains the title OTA, promising fans that it will be released soon. He added that the project features carefully produced tracks by top Rwandan music producers, ensuring a high-quality collection.
This follows his first album, Yaraje, released in June 2023, which included collaborations with leading Rwandan artists such as Butera Knowless, Bulldogg, Bruce Melodie, King James, and others.
