President Paul Kagame has congratulated Paris Saint-Germain F.C. after the French giants secured a place in the final of the UEFA Champions League.
PSG booked their spot in the final after eliminating FC Bayern Munich with a 6-5 aggregate victory following a 1-1 draw in the second leg.
In a message posted on X, President Kagame praised the club, which partners with Rwanda through the Visit Rwanda tourism campaign, describing the qualification as well deserved.
He also wished both finalists success ahead of what is expected to be a highly competitive final.
Paris Saint-Germain F.C., which has partnered with the Visit Rwanda campaign since 2019, will face Arsenal F.C. in the final scheduled for May 30, 2026.
The match will be played at Puskás Aréna in Budapest.
The final will also spotlight Rwanda’s tourism partnerships, as both PSG and Arsenal are associated with the Visit Rwanda brand.
While Arsenal are returning to the Champions League final for the first time in two decades, PSG will be seeking to retain the European title they won last season.
Congratulations to #VisitRwanda partner @PSG_inside on reaching the UEFA Champions League Final after an impressive run. Wishing both finalist teams the very best in what promises to be a great final!
