The meeting, held at Village Urugwiro, comes as the delegation is in Kigali to attend the Africa CEO Forum, a major continental gathering of heads of state, government officials, and private sector leaders focused on accelerating investment and economic transformation in Africa.

According to the Office of the President, discussions centered on expanding investment opportunities in Rwanda, with particular focus on energy, infrastructure development, manufacturing, and the hospitality and tourism sectors.

The Africa CEO Forum is scheduled to take place at the Kigali Convention Centre from May 14 to 15, 2026, bringing together African leaders and global investors to discuss strategies for enhancing competitiveness and unlocking private sector growth across the continent.
