Rayon Sports have confirmed that their annual fan festival, widely known as “Rayon Day” or “Umunsi w’Igikundiro,” will take place on July 18, 2026, at Amahoro Stadium.

The event remains one of the club’s most anticipated fixtures, bringing together thousands of supporters for a blend of football action, entertainment, and the official unveiling of the team ahead of the new season.

During the celebration, Rayon Sports are expected to play a high-profile international friendly match, while also presenting new signings, squad numbers, and technical updates for both the men’s and women’s teams.

Although the visiting opponent has not yet been officially confirmed, previous editions have featured top regional clubs, including Tanzania’s Young Africans SC. Kenyan giants Gor Mahia FC have also been mentioned among potential invitees for this year’s edition.

Beyond football, “Rayon Day” has evolved into a major entertainment and cultural event, featuring live music performances, DJs, and other artistic showcases that draw fans from across the country.

Since its launch in 2019, the annual event hosted at Amahoro Stadium has become a symbolic moment for supporters, offering an early glimpse into the club’s ambitions and preparations for the season ahead.
