Police FC have confirmed the signing of five new players, including former Rayon Sports defender Rushema Chris, as the club embarks on a major squad restructuring ahead of the new season.

The Rwanda Premier League side announced the arrivals on Thursday, unveiling a blend of domestic and international recruits from across Africa.

Rushema Chris joins Police FC on a two-year contract after leaving Rayon Sports, where he spent a single season following his move from Mukura VS & L. The defender struggled for regular playing time and departs as Rayon Sports strengthened its defensive line.

The club also secured Kenyan midfielder Japheth Mzungu from Sofapaka FC on a three-year deal.

In attack, Police FC signed Malian striker Tangara Keffa from Djoliba AC and Ghanaian forward Moussa Limane from Asante Kotoko SC, both on two-year contracts.

Defensively, the club added Ghanaian left-back Iddrisu Shaibu from Sofapaka FC on a two-year deal, reinforcing a position previously held by Ishimwe Christian, who has since returned to APR FC.

In a parallel structural change, Police FC appointed Rutsindura Antoine “Mabombe” as Technical Director, tasked with overseeing the club’s long-term technical development.

The new signings add to earlier arrivals and contract renewals involving captain Nsabimana Eric “Zidane”, Iradukunda Simeon, goalkeeper Niyongira Patience, and David Chimezie.

The sweeping changes come amid a wider squad rebuild at Police FC, which has also parted ways with head coach Ben Moussa Abdessatar after one season, alongside several players including Ani Elijah, Byiringiro Lague, Msanga Henry, Kirongozi Richard, Issah Yakubu, Allan Kateregga, and Ishimwe Christian.
