The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled for November 21, 2026, at Amahoro Stadium, with Rayon Sports listed as the home side. The match will be played on Matchday 9.
The return fixture has not yet been assigned a date.
The 2026/27 BK Pro League season is scheduled to kick off on September 4, 2026, and conclude on May 30, 2027.
The 18-team competition will feature 16 Rwandan clubs and two Sudanese sides, Al Hilal and Al Merrikh.
Kiyovu Sports will host Gorilla FC at Kigali Pelé Stadium in the opening match on September 4, with kick-off scheduled for 3 p.m.
The following day, Amagaju FC will host Etoile de l’Est at Kamena Stadium, while Etincelles FC will welcome Sunrise FC at Umuganda Stadium. Both matches will also kick off at 3 p.m.
The opening round will conclude on September 6, with Marine FC hosting Kigali FC at Umuganda Stadium, Mukura VS&L facing Gasogi United at Kamena Stadium and Police FC taking on Gicumbi FC at Kigali Pelé Stadium.
Three fixtures have been postponed because Rayon Sports, APR FC, Al Hilal and Al Merrikh are set to compete in the preliminary rounds of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
The affected matches are Rayon Sports against Al Merrikh, Bugesera FC against Al Hilal and APR FC against Musanze FC.
The Rayon Sports-APR FC clash is expected to be one of the standout fixtures of the first half of the season, bringing together two of Rwanda’s most successful and widely supported clubs.
The RPL has confirmed the fixture calendar as the clubs begin preparations for a season that will also see Rwanda host two Sudanese giants in the top flight.
