Kimenyi Tito explores age-gap love in new film

Rwandan actor and filmmaker Kimenyi Tito has released a new film, “Till a Death,” exploring an unconventional relationship between a 25-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman.

The film centres on the relationship between the two characters and examines whether love can overcome a 40-year age difference and exist independently of money or other material interests.

Through “Till a Death,” Kimenyi invites viewers to question commonly held assumptions about relationships and what truly forms the basis of love.

The significant age gap between the two characters raises questions about whether people can enter and sustain relationships based primarily on emotional connection, rather than age, financial status or social expectations.

The film also explores how relationships involving partners from very different generations can challenge societal perceptions of love and intimacy.

By placing an unconventional couple at the centre of the story, “Till a Death” creates room for discussion about whether genuine affection should be judged by age differences or by the nature of the bond between two people.
