Rwandan musician Manzi Kalisi Daddy, known professionally as Cassa or Daddy Cassanova, has asked the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) for help after accusing a DJ in Rwanda of using his name to promote an event without his authorisation.

In a post on X on October 26, 2026, the musician asked RIB to guide him on how to pursue the matter.

“Hello, RIB. My name is Manzi Kalisi Daddy, a professional musician known as Cassa or Daddy Cassanova. I am a Rwandan artist who also holds Canadian citizenship. I would like to report a DJ in Rwanda who is using my name to promote an event without my permission. What steps should I take to resolve this matter?” he wrote.

RIB advised him to file a complaint at the nearest RIB station and provide all available evidence, assuring him that the case would be followed up.

The bureau also provided its toll-free number, 166, for further assistance.

Cassa thanked RIB for its response, saying he had already submitted evidence related to the complaint. He added that he would travel to Rwanda if necessary to follow up on the matter.

The musician is known for songs including Ishiraniro and Imyaka Itanu.
