Rayon Sports returned to winning ways in the 2026/27 Rwanda Premier League with a 3-0 victory over Musanze FC, while Marine FC beat Al-Hilal SC by the same scoreline and Police FC suffered a 1-0 defeat to Al-Merrikh SC.

Rayon Sports ended an eight-match winless run with their first league victory of the season, beating Musanze FC in a rescheduled fifth-round fixture at Kigali Pelé Stadium.

Junior Kameni, Iradukunda Elie Tatou and Muderi Akbar scored to give the Blues three points, taking their tally to four from three league matches.

The victory comes after a difficult spell for the Kigali-based side, which was eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup by Mozambique’s Black Bulls.

Rayon Sports will next face Marine FC on Sunday, November 1, at Umuganda Stadium in Rubavu.

Marine FC continued their impressive run with a 3-0 victory over Al-Hilal SC in a rescheduled second-round fixture at Umuganda Stadium.

Niyibizi Ramadhan and Amani Rutayisire scored for the Rubavu-based side, while Rawa Mohamed netted an own goal.

The result lifted Marine FC to the top of the provisional league standings with 11 points, level with Gorilla FC.

Marine have now gone five matches unbeaten, having beaten Kigali FC and Etincelles FC while drawing against Kiyovu Sports and Gasogi United.

Coach Yves Rwasamanzi’s side will look to maintain that form when they host Rayon Sports on Sunday, in what promises to be a closely watched encounter.

Meanwhile, Police FC’s difficult run continued with a 1-0 defeat to Al-Merrikh SC in another rescheduled second-round fixture.

The loss extended Police FC’s winless streak to four consecutive matches, increasing pressure on head coach Rkyer Jaafar and his players.

The Rwandan police side will seek to recover in their next league match against Bugesera FC as they look to regain confidence and improve their position in the standings.
