Rwandan singers Christopher and Nel Ngabo are set to share the stage in Ottawa, Canada, at an event bringing together Rwandans living in the country and friends of Rwanda.
The concert is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at Rogers Centre Ottawa as part of Rwanda Convention Canada 2026, an event designed to strengthen connections among Rwandans abroad and celebrate their shared culture.
The convention provides an opportunity for Rwandans living in Canada to meet, socialise and maintain their cultural ties, while building relationships with friends of Rwanda.
Christopher is an established figure in Rwanda’s music industry, known for songs including Iri Joro, Habona and Simusiga. Nel Ngabo, one of the country’s popular contemporary artists, is known for tracks such as Byakubaho and Nzahinduka.
The concert is among events organised by Rwandan communities abroad to preserve their cultural heritage and pass it on to younger generations growing up outside Rwanda.
