Rwandan singer and producer Element EleéeH has recorded a new song with American R&B star Ne-Yo, adding a major international collaboration to his upcoming debut album.
The collaboration is expected to feature on Element’s first full-length album, which is currently being finalised. The project is expected to contain 10 songs, with collaborations making up several of the tracks.
Element recently shared footage showing him with Ne-Yo after the recording session, sparking excitement among fans. The song’s title and release date have not yet been announced.
The collaboration reportedly came after the two artists met in the United States, where Ne-Yo was performing during a tour. Their meeting eventually led to an agreement to work together on a song.
Element, whose real name is Mugisha Fred Robinson, first gained recognition as a producer before establishing himself as a recording artist. His growing catalogue includes “Kashe,” “MiLELE,” “Tombé,” “Maaso” and “Fou de toi,” among other releases.
His debut EP, “Genesis,” released earlier this year, marked a new chapter in his career as he increasingly focuses on his own artistry.
The Ne-Yo collaboration adds to the international profile surrounding Element’s forthcoming album, which is expected to feature several other African artists.
