Rwanda Football Federation has joined 211 member associations attending the 76th FIFA Congress taking place in Vancouver.
The Rwanda delegation is led by FERWAFA President Shema Fabrice Ngoga, alongside First Vice President Claudine Gasarabwe and Secretary General Bonnie Mugabe.
The high-level gathering is expected to shape key decisions on the future of global football, including budget approvals and the selection of host nations for major tournaments. The congress is also set to confirm hosts for the 2031 and 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cups.
Beyond formal resolutions, the meeting provides a strategic platform for member associations to strengthen cooperation and deepen engagement on football development worldwide.
First held in 1904, the FIFA Congress is convening in Canada for the second time, following the 1976 edition in Montréal.
Rwanda previously hosted the congress in Kigali in 2023, where Gianni Infantino was re-elected for a third term.
