Four teams have secured places in the semifinals of the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA qualifiers in Kigali, with Rwanda’s Rayon Sports missing out after the completion of the group stage on Wednesday.
South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars, Kenya Police Bullets, Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies and Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) will contest the last four.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies secured their place as Group B winners after an emphatic 8–0 victory over Djibouti’s FC Ujeco. The Ugandan champions finished top of the group on six points after winning both matches.
Kenya Police Bullets also finished top of their group after beating Burundi’s Top Girls Academy 3–1, completing their group campaign with six points.
Yei Joint Stars had already secured top spot in Group A after finishing their group campaign with seven points. Rayon Sports finished second with five points but failed to advance as the best runner-up.
Because Group A contained four teams while Groups B and C had three each, points earned against the bottom-placed team in the four-team group were excluded when comparing second-placed teams.
That calculation left Rayon Sports with two points for the purpose of the comparison, allowing CBE to advance as the best second-placed team after finishing with three points and a superior goal difference.
The semifinals will be played on Saturday, August 29, at Kigali Pele Stadium.

The tournament winner will represent the CECAFA region in the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League.
