Singer France Mpundu has announced that she is expecting her first child with Moctar, marking a new milestone in the couple’s relationship that began on the reality show The Secret Story.
Mpundu shared the news on Tuesday through a series of photos posted on her Instagram page, accompanied by a heartfelt message reflecting on their journey together.
“We didn’t have a way to tell you, that is why we chose to show you,” she wrote.
She added that their relationship goes beyond public perception, describing it as a union that brought together two families and a shared future.
“It is not just a love story you have seen, it is a life story… two people in love building a future together, going from two to three,” she said.
Mpundu and Moctar, originally from Niger, met during The Secret Story, a reality television show filmed in South Africa, where their relationship first began and continued to develop.
Their widely followed romance has since attracted significant public interest, with Canal+ reportedly developing a reality series titled Vie VIP to document their life together, set to air on Canal+ Magic.
In May, Moctar proposed to Mpundu in Zanzibar, Tanzania, in what marked his second proposal since the couple’s journey began on the show.
