Jules Sentore sets May 29 for live ‘Umudende’ album launch concert

Rwandan traditional music star Jules Sentore has announced a live concert to officially unveil his latest album, Umudende, in what is expected to be a major showcase of indigenous sound and live performance.

The artist confirmed the event on Wednesday night, April 22, 2026, via his Instagram page, unveiling promotional artwork for the concert.

The show is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026, at Kigali Universe, where Sentore will deliver a full live band performance built around his signature traditional music style.

Released on August 1, 2025, Umudende features 12 tracks, including Rutemikirere, Karimi, and Urumamo, among others.

Sentore, 37, remains one of Rwanda’s leading figures in traditional music, with a strong catalogue that includes hits such as Warakoze, Dimba Hasi, Sine ya Mwiza, and Ngera.

The Umudende album features 12 tracks.
