English coach Mark Harrison has parted ways with Kiyovu Sports less than three months after taking charge of the Rwandan Premier League club.
Harrison leaves the Nyamirambo-based side having guided them to the 2026 FERWAFA Super Cup title, but his league campaign lasted only three matches.
He joined Kiyovu Sports with the task of helping the club challenge for better positions in Rwanda’s top-flight league. However, their partnership ended sooner than expected.
During his short spell, Harrison led Kiyovu to a 1-0 victory over Police FC in the FERWAFA Super Cup final to secure the trophy.
Their start to the BK Pro League season was less successful. Kiyovu lost to Gorilla FC and Musanze FC before securing a 1-0 win over Bugesera FC.
Reports indicated that Harrison left for personal reasons, although financial difficulties at the club were also cited as a possible factor. Neither side has provided a detailed explanation of the circumstances surrounding the departure.
