Jwaneng Galaxy and Rwanda national team striker Mugisha Gilbert has dismissed rumours circulating on social media that he has separated from his wife, Mpinganzima Josephine, insisting that their marriage remains strong and that they are still happily in love.
In a message posted on Instagram, Mugisha urged people to avoid spreading unverified claims about other people’s private lives.
He directly responded to Kazungu Kaboss, who had suggested that the footballer’s marriage might have broken down, saying the claims were untrue.
“I want to let you know that my wife, Mpinganzima, and I are doing well, living peacefully and enjoying our love. Nothing can separate us because what God has joined together, no one can separate,” Mugisha wrote.
Addressing speculation sparked by his decision to remove wedding photos from his social media accounts, the striker said he had the right to decide what to post and delete from his personal pages.
“I can remove whatever I have posted on my social media accounts at my own discretion. Perhaps I have something planned that you do not know about,” he said.
Mugisha Gilbert and Mpinganzima Josephine got married on October 5, 2025.
Mugisha dismissed the rumours, insisting that he and his wife are still happily married.
