Rayon Sports have officially signed young forward Muhoza Daniel from Etoile de l’Est, completing a transfer that follows his standout performances in Rwanda’s second division.
The deal was confirmed on Friday evening, June 26, 2026, by Rayon Sports, ending weeks of speculation over the striker’s next move.
Muhoza first came into the spotlight during the 2023/24 season, when Etoile de l’Est were relegated to the second tier. Despite the club’s difficulties, he emerged as one of the most promising young attackers, even earning a nomination for Young Player of the Year.
He later played a decisive role in Etoile de l’Est’s return to the top flight, scoring 10 goals in the second division and finishing as the fourth-highest scorer in the league. His form was instrumental in securing promotion.
Muhoza becomes Rayon Sports’ ninth signing since the close of the season and the sixth Rwandan player to join the squad as the club continues to strengthen its roster ahead of the upcoming campaign.
