Rwandan gospel artists Papi Clever and Dorcas have released a new song titled Msingi, marking their latest collaboration in music dedicated to worship and praise.

The song was released on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in both audio and video formats, and has already garnered over 50,000 views on YouTube.

Msingi carries a powerful message of relying on God during life’s most challenging moments, portraying faith as the foundation of everything. In Swahili, one of the lyrics says: “Nilipopitia moto na majaribu sauti yako ilinituliza, nilipoanguka umeniinua upendo wako huataniacha,” which translates into Kinyarwanda as, “Ubwo nanyuraga mu muriro, ijwi ryawe ryaranturishije; ubwo nagwaga, warambyukije urukundo rwawe nti ruzamvaho.”

This is not the first Swahili song for Papi Clever and Dorcas. They have previously released popular tracks across East Africa, including Ameniweka Hulu Kweli, Ni Heri Kuona Ndugu, and Mwokozi Wetu, which have resonated especially in Kenya and Tanzania.

The song’s audio was produced by renowned sound engineer Ishimwe Etienne, also known as Bass, while the visuals were directed by Musinga.

Papi Clever (Tuyizere) and Dorcas Ingabire are a married couple with six years together, raising four children—three daughters and one son. Over the years, they have built a strong reputation in Rwanda and beyond as leading figures in gospel music, inspiring audiences with messages of faith, hope, and devotion.
