Rayon Sports has appointed French coach Hugo Tricarico as its new goalkeeping coach as the club continues to strengthen its technical bench ahead of the new season.

The announcement was made on Monday, June 22, 2026, through the club’s official social media platforms.

“We are pleased to announce Hugo Tricarico as our new goalkeeping coach. Tricarico, who developed his career at OGC Nice, previously worked as a goalkeeping coach at Vannes,” the club stated.

The club said Tricarico will work alongside Ndayishimiye Eric, popularly known as “Bakame,” who remains part of the technical staff and will continue to support the goalkeeping department.

Rayon Sports emphasized that Bakame will maintain his role while collaborating with the new coach as part of ongoing technical restructuring.

Tricarico brings experience from youth and senior football in France, having worked with FC Mougins/RC Grasse U18 and U19 teams between 2018 and 2020, where he also served as a matchday goalkeeping coach.

He later joined US Mandelieu (2020–2023), where he coached youth goalkeepers across different age categories, from U7 to U13, and also took charge of youth teams.

In 2023, he moved to FC Mougins as a goalkeeping coach before joining Vannes Olympique Club, where he worked prior to his move to Rwanda.

Rayon Sports continues to reinforce its technical staff as part of preparations aimed at improving performance in domestic and regional competitions.
