Richard Uwiragiye, husband of Nyambo Jesca, has strongly responded to people criticizing his wife after Titi Brown bought a new car, with some saying Nyambo will regret ending the romantic relationship they reportedly had, although neither of them ever publicly confirmed that they were dating.
Richard said people should not put themselves in God’s place by deciding what his wife deserves. He insisted that Nyambo will not regret her decision to marry him because she made the right choice.
He made the remarks in a lengthy message posted on social media, urging people to stay out of his marriage and stop comparing his wife with other people he described as insignificant.
“Did you take my wife out of those petty conversations of yours? I saw some of you saying my wife will regret her decision. What exactly will she regret? What extraordinary thing has happened? Where your dreams end is where other people’s dreams begin, so stop comparing her with petty and meaningless things,” he said.
Richard went on to say that Nyambo would never regret her decision and urged people to stop deciding what is best for her as though they know her better than she knows herself.
“I want to tell you the truth: Nyambo will never regret her decision, so forget about that. Do not try to decide what my wife deserves as though you are her God. God has destined something better for her than what you wish for her,” he said.
Richard also specifically criticized women whom he said had continued to speak negatively about Nyambo, telling them to first reach the same level of relationship she is in before judging her.
“One day, when you are fortunate enough to meet a man who loves you and puts a ring on your finger like the one Nyambo wears, then you can try to put yourself in her position. Otherwise, you are simply playing around,” he said.
In his message, he also criticized those claiming that Nyambo left Titi Brown to marry a man living in the diaspora. He urged them to stop counting the days of his marriage and leave his wife in peace.
He said those accusing Nyambo of choosing material things would not turn them down themselves if they had access to the same things. According to Richard, some people instead attack those who have what they lack and pretend that such people cannot be happy with what they have.
The comments come after Nyambo Jesca said that her husband, Richard Uwiragiye, does not belong to the world of social media “streets” and warned that those who bring him into online disputes could face legal action.
