Rwandan singer Ruti Joel’s girlfriend, Ineza Lisa, has shared an emotional message about their relationship, saying their love is something she no longer needs to exaggerate because its beauty can be seen in the life they share.
In a lengthy message posted on Instagram, Ineza reflected on her past experiences with love and how they eventually shaped the way she expresses her feelings for Ruti Joel.
She said there were times when she wrote words of love to people who did not deserve them, but those experiences taught her how to write to someone who would eventually become important in her life.
Ineza said she often poured her emotions into words, only to later realise that the periods of waiting and uncertainty had a purpose.
She explained that even the moments when she felt she had lost something were not meaningless, as they were teaching her how to express herself to someone who would become special to her.
According to Ineza, every relationship she once thought had caused her pain was also teaching her what genuine peace feels like.
She added that every love story she once valued so deeply was, in some way, preparing her to tell her own story.
Ineza described Ruti Joel as part of a love story she had been writing for a long time without knowing that he was the person the story was leading her to.
She said their relationship does not need to be dressed up or exaggerated to make it beautiful because its beauty is already found in the experiences they share.
Ineza also praised Ruti Joel’s dedication and determination in his work, saying his commitment inspires her to become a better person—not only for herself but for both of them.
She thanked God for the blessing of meeting Ruti Joel and expressed gratitude to the people who helped shape him and guided him in his career and life.
Ineza said she cannot turn back time to recover moments she lost, but she now understands why some of those moments had to be missing from her life.
She said her experiences helped her learn how to speak and write about someone who is truly important to her, while also teaching her the meaning of peace and genuine love.
