Rwanda is participating in the Triangular Partnership Programme (TPP) 2026 Partners Forum taking place in Hanoi, Vietnam, from June 24 to 26, 2026.

The country is represented by Col Deo Mutabazi, Military Advisor at the Permanent Mission of Rwanda to the United Nations Headquarters.

The forum brings together partner countries and stakeholders to exchange best practices and strengthen cooperation in United Nations peace operations, with a focus on innovation and capacity building.

Key discussions will focus on enhancing coordination and skills development in peacekeeping operations, including engineering, medical support, and strategies to counter improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Participants are also examining how emerging technologies and innovative approaches can improve the effectiveness of peace support missions.

The Triangular Partnership Programme, implemented under the United Nations Department of Operational Support, has since 2015 served as a key mechanism for training and capacity building among troop- and police-contributing countries.

Rwanda continues to play a dual role in the programme as both a beneficiary and an active partner, contributing to and benefiting from training initiatives that strengthen its peacekeeping capabilities.
