Rwandan singer The Ben has addressed rumours linking him to other women in his new song Oniva, a collaboration with rising artist Diez Dola, saying the claims are intended to drive a wedge between him and his wife, Uwicyeza Pamela.

The song’s music video was released on October 14, 2026, at 3 p.m., marking the first collaboration between the two artists.

In the song, The Ben pushes back against allegations that he is romantically involved with other women, portraying them as rumours aimed at creating conflict in his marriage.

The track was written by Diez Dola, The Ben, Passy Kizito and Prince Kiiiz. Director Aky handled the music video, while Qubatingz and Madebeats produced the audio.

Diez Dola celebrated the collaboration in a post on Instagram, describing his partnership with The Ben as a meeting of two generations united by their passion for Rwandan music.

“My big brother The Ben and I come from two different generations, but we share a common ground in Rwandan music, defined by talent and energy,” he wrote.

The Ben has spent more than 18 years in the music industry, while Diez Dola is approaching his fourth year as he continues to build his profile among Rwandan music fans.

Diez Dola rose to prominence with songs such as Zangalewa, released in 2024, as well as Ratata and RePeTe, which he recorded with DJ Benda. The releases have helped him gain popularity, particularly among young audiences.

His recent releases include Extra Stamina, released in 2026 and produced by Element EleéeH. The song was the first release in the build-up to his debut album, Propaganda, which was scheduled for release in 2026.

Beyond performing, Diez Dola has also contributed to songwriting for other artists. His writing credits include Ross Kana’s Mami, as well as Sambolera, Golo and Jugumila.
