Two senior officers of the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), Lt Col Christian Mushengezi and Lt Col John Bosco Kamuhangire, have completed a 10-month military training programme in Qatar.
The officers graduated from the Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies, a senior military institution in Qatar.
The programme combined advanced military studies with Arabic language training, aimed at strengthening the officers’ capacity in international defence cooperation and communication.
The graduation ceremony was presided over by Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs.
It was attended by senior officials of the Qatar Armed Forces, diplomatic representatives, and other invited guests.
Rwanda was represented at the ceremony by Col Bernard Niyomugabo, Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Rwanda in Qatar.
