Gospel music duo Vestine and Dorcas have released the music video for their latest song, ‘Ibihe’.

The song was written with the help of Niyo Bosco and Danny Mutabazi. Its message encourages people to remain patient and trust in God even when facing difficult challenges.

The music video was released on October 11, 2026, following the song’s earlier release in audio format. Santana Sauce produced the audio, while Chriss Eazy directed the video.

Speaking to Inyarwanda, Vestine said the song was intended to comfort people going through various hardships and remind them that God never abandons them.

“We wanted to tell people that no matter how many attacks they face, Jesus is always close to them every day and serves as their shield,” she said.

Vestine also explained why they worked with Niyo Bosco and Danny Mutabazi on the song, saying they were close collaborators who shared a common understanding of the message they wanted to convey to their fans.

She noted that this was not her first collaboration with Niyo Bosco, who has contributed to the production of several of the duo’s songs, including ‘Ihema’ and ‘Adonai’.

Regarding their music production in Canada, where they work with Santana Sauce on audio and Chriss Eazy on videos, Vestine acknowledged that the process is not always easy, particularly because they are far from the people they have traditionally worked with.

Despite the challenges, she said they remain committed to their musical journey because they consider it a calling from God and are passionate about what they do.

‘Ibihe’ is the second song Vestine and Dorcas have released since moving to Canada, following ‘Itabaza’. Both songs came after their departure from MIE Empire, the management company that previously represented the duo.

Some listeners have also linked the song to Vestine’s personal circumstances, as she is going through a separation from her husband, Idrissa Ouedraogo, with their divorce case currently before the courts.

Other songs that have helped Vestine and Dorcas gain popularity among gospel music fans include ‘Iradushimishije’, ‘Adonai’, ‘Ihema’ and ‘Nahawe Ijambo’, as well as ‘Simpagarara’.
