Rwanda earned more than $10 million (over 14.6 billion FRW) from agricultural and livestock exports between March 2 and March 6, 2026, according to the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB).

NAEB’s weekly report tracking export volumes and revenue shows strong demand for Rwandan products across global markets.

During the five-day period, Rwanda exported coffee, tea, vegetables, fruits, flowers, livestock products, and other goods.

Coffee exports totaled 508 tonnes, generating over $2.7 million, while 846 tonnes of tea brought in more than $2.3 million. Vegetable exports reached 440 tonnes, earning $479,450, and 462 tonnes of fruits generated over $311,000. Flower exports of 42 tonnes brought in more than $282,000.

The main destinations for these exports included the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, and several African countries.

Other agricultural products totaling 7,078 tonnes earned over $3.7 million, while 273 tonnes of livestock products generated more than $437,000, with top markets including Oman, Nigeria, and other African nations.

The report underscores Rwanda’s growing prominence as a competitive exporter of high-value agricultural products in regional and international markets.
