Minister Uwihanganye to headline Gen-Z Comedy Show “Meet Me Tonight” session

State Minister for Infrastructure Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye is set to feature in the upcoming Gen-Z Comedy Show, where he will engage audiences in the popular “Meet Me Tonight” segment.

Scheduled for May 7, 2026, at Camp Kigali, the event will provide a platform for the minister to share insights from his personal journey and reflect on key priorities within the Ministry of Infrastructure.

Born and raised in Gatsibo District, Uwihanganye is a construction engineer by training, holding a Master’s degree in Construction Project Management from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.

He was appointed State Minister for Infrastructure in July 2025. Prior to that, he served as Rwanda’s Ambassador to Singapore from 2019 and earlier as State Minister for Transport between 2017 and 2019.

The “Meet Me Tonight” segment of the Gen-Z Comedy Show regularly hosts high-profile figures from government, media, and entertainment, offering audiences an interactive conversation on leadership and life experiences.

The show will also feature performances by comedians including Pilate, Umushumba, Muhinde, Rumi, and others.
