Rwandan musician Logan Joe has announced that he will release his first album, titled Love in Motion, on January 1, 2027, describing it as a project that reflects his musical growth and evolution since beginning his career.
The singer said he developed the album to give fans a collection of songs connected by a common message centred on love and how it is expressed in everyday life.
Speaking to InyaRwanda, Logan Joe explained that the title Love in Motion reflects his belief that love goes beyond romantic feelings and should be demonstrated through actions and everyday experiences.
“Love, to me, is not just words or the emotions between people in a romantic relationship. It is something that moves, evolves and manifests itself in everyday life,” he said.
He described the album as an important milestone in his musical journey, offering listeners an opportunity to understand his experiences, the lessons he has learned and the changes he has made as an artist.
“This album is a very important part of my musical journey. It is a project through which I show people how far I have come, what I have learned and the changes I have made as an artist. I see it as the beginning of a new level I want to reach,” he said.
Logan Joe added that his intention was not simply to add an album to his catalogue, but to create a body of work that communicates a new artistic direction.
Among the songs that helped bring him into the spotlight is Whatever, which he recorded with Kivumbi King.
Since then, he has continued to expand his musical portfolio with releases including Njyewe Utazi, Kibonumwe, Ndi Good, Bitinde and Tricky.
He has also collaborated with other artists on songs such as 300, featuring OG Kheinz and Ririmba; Ibitambo, alongside Kenny K-Shot and Ish Kevin; and Ntiwamvamo, with Kenny K-Shot.
Love in Motion will be Logan Joe’s first album since launching his music career, marking a significant step in his development as he seeks to showcase his progress and establish a new direction in the industry.
