A 25-year-old man was found dead below a road in Kigarama Village, Mbuye Cell, Kibilizi Sector, Nyanza District.
The deceased, identified as Ntabomvura Eric, was discovered by residents, some of whom suspect he may have been killed by criminals.
Kamana, a resident of Kigarama Village, said: “We found him dead below the road, and we suspect he may have been killed by criminals.”
Burezi Eugene, the executive secretary of Kibilizi Sector, said police and the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) had arrived at the scene and that the body was taken to hospital for examination.
“It is true that we found someone who had died, but the cause of death is not yet known. Police and RIB officers arrived at the scene, and the body was taken to hospital for examination,” he said.
Burezi said the cause of death would be established through medical examination and investigations.
