As Rwanda finalizes preparations to host the 2026 edition of the Africa CEO Forum, high-profile delegates and heads of state have started arriving in Kigali ahead of the continental gathering scheduled for May 14–15 at Kigali Convention Centre.

Among the first senior leaders to arrive was Côte d’Ivoire’s Prime Minister, Robert Beugré Mambé, who landed at Kigali International Airport on May 12 and was received by Rwanda’s Minister of National Unity and Civic Engagement, Jean-Damascène Bizimana.

Guinea’s transitional President, Mamadi Doumbouya, also arrived in Kigali on the night of May 12. He was welcomed by Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda, alongside senior officials including RDF Chief of Defence Staff Gen Mubarakh Muganga, Rwanda National Police Inspector General CG Felix Namuhoranye and Kigali City Mayor Samuel Dusengiyumva.

The Africa CEO Forum, one of the continent’s leading private sector and investment platforms, is expected to bring together more than 2,800 participants from over 90 countries, including chief executives, investors, policymakers and development partners.

Founded by Jeune Afrique Media Group in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the forum focuses on accelerating Africa’s economic transformation through private sector-led growth and strategic partnerships.

Rwanda is hosting the forum for the third time, having previously organized the event in 2019 and 2024, reinforcing Kigali’s growing role as a hub for continental business and investment dialogue.
