Rwanda’s Public Prosecution has played a key role in the arrest of Dieudonné Ishimwe, popularly known as Prince Kid, who had been hiding in the United States after being charged with sexual abuse of minors participating in Miss Rwanda competitions.

Rwanda National Police have for five days maintained a search for a suspect accused of stealing a mobile phone before fleeing into a large drainage tunnel in Ruhurura, Nyamirambo Sector, Kigali City. One of the two suspects has been arrested, while efforts to apprehend the second are ongoing.

The University Teaching Hospital of Butare (CHUB) has installed its first Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine, becoming the first public hospital outside Kigali to offer the advanced diagnostic service and marking a major step toward decentralising specialised healthcare in Rwanda.
