The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has unveiled a lineup of local music stars who will perform during the ongoing 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup, with Davis D, Kenny Sol and Diez Dola set to entertain fans throughout the tournament.
The performances will begin on Wednesday, July 29, at Kigali Pelé Stadium as part of the matchday entertainment programme.
Wednesday’s fixtures will see Zanzibar’s KVZ FC face Sudan’s Al Hilal Omdurman in a Group C clash at 3:00 p.m., before Rwanda’s Rayon Sports take on Kenya’s Tusker FC at 6:00 p.m.
Entertainment has featured prominently since the tournament kicked off on July 24. On the opening day, dancer Titi Brown performed his hit song Urare at Amahoro Stadium, while spectators at Monday’s match between APR FC and Djibouti’s Garde Républicaine FC enjoyed a live traditional music performance during halftime at Kigali Pelé Stadium.
By incorporating live performances into the tournament programme, FERWAFA aims to enhance the matchday experience for supporters attending the regional competition.
The 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup concludes on August 7, with the three artists expected to perform at selected matches during the remainder of the tournament.
