Cyprien Uzabakiriho, widely known as Djihad, and Kwizera Nestor, popularly called Pappy Nesta, have been arrested on allegations of distributing an explicit video involving Yampano.

Djihad was taken into custody on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) spokesperson Thierry B. Murangira confirmed the arrest, saying it follows an ongoing investigation into the circulation of the video. He emphasized that those involved in spreading the footage will face legal consequences.

“They have been arrested and are being investigated. This must stop. We will continue our investigations, and anyone found responsible will be prosecuted. The investigation will not end until every person involved in sharing this obscene content is held accountable,” Murangira said.

He added that Djihad had previously been cautioned about similar behavior but ignored the warning.

The two suspects are currently detained at the RIB station in Kicukiro as investigations continue before the case is handed over to the Prosecution.

RIB launched the investigation after a complaint filed by Yampano on November 9, 2025. According to the Bureau, five suspects have been arrested so far in connection with the distribution of the explicit video.

Earlier arrests include Ishimwe Patrick, known as Pazzo, and Kalisa John, commonly referred to as K. John. Their case files have already been forwarded to the Prosecution.

RIB also arrested another suspect, Ishimwe François Xavier, who is alleged to have demanded payment to share the video with others.

“This behavior will not be tolerated. It is a misuse of social media,” Murangira warned.

RIB says its investigation is ongoing, and anyone found to have contributed to spreading the video will be prosecuted accordingly.
