Foreign Affairs Minister Nduhungirehe meets Rwandan community in Morocco, urges preservation of national values

Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe, together with Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa, met members of the Rwandan community living in Morocco, including students, and urged them to continue upholding Rwandan values and contributing to national development.

The meeting and dinner reception took place at the ambassador’s residence in Rabat on the evening of Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Discussions focused on the welfare of Rwandans living in Morocco, opportunities available to the diaspora, and the importance of preserving Rwanda’s values while living abroad.

Community members were encouraged to continue promoting unity, patriotism, hard work, and active participation in Rwanda’s socio-economic transformation.

Minister Nduhungirehe is in Morocco where he attended a ministerial meeting on peacekeeping operations among French-speaking countries held in Rabat.

He also took part in the two-day Global Growth Conference 2026, which was held in Rabat from May 20 to 21, 2026.
