Rwandan singer Ruhumuriza James, popularly known as King James, is set to take his 20th-anniversary music celebrations to the United States and Canada later this year.

The announcement comes after the singer kicked off the celebrations in Rwanda with two major concerts at BK Arena in early August.

King James has since taken the anniversary tour to Europe, performing in Brussels, Belgium, on August 22, with another concert scheduled for Bremen, Germany, on August 29.

The singer has announced that the next phase of the celebrations will take place in the United States and Canada in November and December 2026.

In a message to his fans, King James called on audiences in North America to prepare for his arrival, although he has not yet released the specific cities and dates for the concerts.

The 20th-anniversary tour marks two decades since King James began his music career and is intended to connect with his fans in Rwanda, the diaspora and other parts of the world.

The celebrations began with his sold-out anniversary concerts at BK Arena, which attracted large numbers of fans and marked a major milestone in his career.

King James is among Rwanda’s established R&B musicians, having built a career spanning two decades and developed a following both at home and among Rwandans living abroad.
