Mozambique’s President and Commander-in-Chief of the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (FADM), Daniel Francisco Chapo, visited Rwandan security forces deployed on a peace support mission in the country.
The visit took place at the Rwandan contingent’s headquarters in Mocímboa da Praia as part of President Chapo’s working visit to Cabo Delgado Province.
He was accompanied by Mozambique’s Minister of Defence, Major General Cristóvão Artur Chume, the Commander of the Mozambique Army, Major General André Rafael Mahunguane, the Commander of the Mozambique Navy, Brigadier General (Commodore) Óscar Agostinho Lucas, along with other senior government officials.
