Defender Ntarindwa Aimable has officially signed for AS Kigali on a two-year contract following his departure from Rayon Sports, the club confirmed on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
Ntarindwa, a central defender, joined Rayon Sports in the 2024/25 season after an impressive spell with Mukura VS & L.
However, despite arriving with high expectations, he struggled to secure regular playing time during the 2025/26 season, often featuring from the bench as competition for defensive positions increased.
Rayon Sports strengthened its backline during the season, including the signing of Mukura VS & L defender Nisingizwe Christian. Reports also indicate the club has reached an agreement with Burundian defender Msanga Henry, who recently left Police FC, although he has not yet been officially unveiled.
Ntarindwa’s move to AS Kigali comes as Rwanda Premier League clubs continue squad restructuring ahead of the new season, with several teams reinforcing key positions.
