Rwandan President Paul Kagame held talks with Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
The talks took place at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah, in Oman’s southern Dhofar Governorate.
The discussions focused on cooperation and investment in key sectors, including mining, renewable energy, food security, inland ports and transport, and healthcare.
The meeting followed President Kagame’s arrival in Oman for a two-day working visit aimed at deepening cooperation between Rwanda and the Sultanate across a range of sectors.
During the visit, Kagame is also expected to meet with officials from various sectors to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and promote investment and economic cooperation between the two countries.
