Rwandan rapper Racine has announced a new album titled “Rwa HipHop II,” with its first volume set to be released on October 9, 2026.
Racine, whose real name is Kamatari Thierry, made the announcement through his social media accounts, revealing that Volume 1 will contain five songs.
The tracks featured on the first volume are “Byaruta,” featuring poet Junior Rumaga, “Amina 2,” featuring Rapcha, “Akicuza,” featuring Bulldog, and “Badman,” featuring Rwandan artists B Face and Zambian rapper Umusepela Crown. The project’s title track will also be part of the release.
“Rwa HipHop II” follows Racine’s 2022 album “Rwa HipHop,” which contained 13 songs. He later released “2023 AD” in 2023, an eight-track project.
Racine began his music career in 2017 and has become known for his hard-hitting lyrics and distinctive rap style, earning a following among Rwanda’s hip-hop audience.
His popular songs include “100,” featuring Papa Cyangwe, as well as “Amina,” “My Guy,” “Agahugu,” “Bizacamo,” “Overnight,” “Nsengera,” “Nzura,” and “Hinduka.”
The release of “Rwa HipHop II” adds another project to Racine’s growing catalogue as he continues to build his presence in Rwanda’s hip-hop scene.
